programs menu cutoff partially-view

The programs menu is atleast 3 columns and the third column is partially
cutoff when bringing it up....is there a setting or change to move or bring
the third column into view.

You can change your display settings (example: make desktop larger) or you
can rename longer items within the menu so that they take up less space.
The width of a column is dictated by the longest name it displays. In other
words, by changing something like Microsoft Office 2003 Professional to MS
Office or just Office and you can greatly reduce the width of a column. And
by shortening each column via renames, more columns can fit in to the
allowed space.

Right click on any item in the start menu and select "rename" to accomplish
the needed adjustments.
