JCW,
The statement "You have already been answered" is not meant to hurt you, but to just let you know that the question has been taken care of. It does NOT mean, "why ask this for a second time?", as we are here to help you out. And my advice for you is to setup a newsreader [Outlook Express], so that you can track the thread easily.
You're welcome.

Sir,
Patti addressed the "My Documents" folder opening at startup but I don't see
how the fix she recommended applies to the "System32" folder opening at
startup. I notice that you have supplied a link prefaced by "quote". The
"You have already been answered" perplexes me. I readily admit I am not an
expert or [MVP] but I don't see any reference to the "System32" issue in
Patti's response. Thanks for the link.
JCW
JCW,

Thanks Patti,
Worked like a charm. Now how can I stop System32 folder from opening at
startup? Thanks in advance

Hi JCW,
If XP is installed on C drive, try the fix that is available here:

At bootup, "My Documents" open to the desktop automatically every time I
start my computer. Can someone please tell me how to stop this from
happening? Please.....
