I have a user running XP pro and he can't expand his
programs to fill the window..there is a 2" gap on the
right side when he presses the Maximize button. I also am
unable to move the program window over.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Are you sure you it isn't the monitor you need to adjust?

don't think it is the monitor...I looked it over..and the
monitor settings seem fine...the extra gap is the
desktop. The desktop fills the monitor properly and looks
fine...but the a program open on the desktop will not move
side to side...and when I max it..it leaves a 2 inch
desktop gap showing

Thanks

Do you mean that there is a part of the desktop visible even when programs are
maximized? I've seen that happen after programs that docked to the side of the
screen (most notably ICQ) crashed, and left the area they were using unusable.
Does rebooting fix it? That's all I ever had to do.

Might have to do with your actual monitor. Try adjusting
the widths and heights on the screen with the buttons on
your monitor.
