programming keyboard shortcuts

Does anyone know how to program a keyboard shortcut that will work in Excel? I need to insert greek letters often in my Excel file, so I would like a handy shortcut, and it would be great if this could be universal across all my Windows programs. Thank you.
 
Take a look at Tools -> Autocorrect in Excel. You could make up your own codes. Those entries won't be universal but will work in Word...not sure about other office apps.

Thanks, Keith. Never thought about the auto-correct route. I tried that and it works just fine!
