BRIEF program editor. It was the fastest most powerful dos based editor in
the business for a long time
It was good, but I preferred MultiEdit (NOT freeware - in fact, it's
gone up from $150 to $250 these days) created by American Cybernetics
and now apparently under new management who've renamed the company
MultiEdit Software Inc.. This thing supports every computer language
under the sun, huge files, search across open files, and is written in
its own macro language.
