I don't think that this problem has anything to do with Vista since
it happened to me using XP.
Here's how to fix the problem:
Using Windows Explorer open th Therapist EZ folder (in Program
Files). Double click on the file called ThAdmin.
Enter your user name and password, if prompted, and go to the file
menu.
Click on "unlock program' and you're in business.
Hope this helps someone...I had to figure it out myself.
Well.... Although well intentioned (excellent), if someone is using a news
reader, all they will see is the above. That's it. Nothing quoted from the
original message at all - just your response as a brand new posting.
Here is the entire conversation as seen in January 2008 (January 1st and 2nd
to be exact) and your posting tacked on now - April 6, 2010.

So, it wasn't originally mentioned that it was this program causing the
error - it was 14 hours later when the OP revealed it had anything at all to
do with the third party application.
Looks like you are both speaking of this application:

For which I would highly suggest contacting their technical support:

Also, you should ensure you are running the latest version.
Therapist Pro:
According to their change history, it was changed to be Windows Vista
compatible with this release: Version 2.5.023 (8/29/2007.) They are now
(as of March 10, 2010) here: Version 2.5.033.
Therapist EZ:
According to their change history, it was changed to be Windows Vista
compatible with this release: Version 2.5.017 (10/16/2007.) They are now
(as of March 12, 2010) here: Version 2.5.023.
Looks like the other versions were abandoned long ago.
