Programme Uninstall

Decided to go back to an early Restore date to see if it restores quicker
(less than 1 1/2 hours). 2 of my progs would not have been installed by
that date. Should I uninstall before I do a System Restore or just leave
them there?

Note in particular the use of My Documents folder, and .sav extension at the
