I have a table that has a variable number of columns from top to bottom.
(I'm guessing some are merged together). Anyway, if the cell contents = Red,
Yellow or Green, I want to change the fill color of the cell to be the color
listed with a fill effect of a horizontal shading with black at the top and
bottom. Can someone assist with this? What was a fairly easy table to
create has now become a @#$##.

Thanks

This should help:

Working with PowerPoint tables

Between the examples there and maybe a macro recorder session while you change
the fill of a rectangle to gradient, that should get you going.

Hi Barb

if Steve's advice doesn't help you solve it we will happily take a look for
you if you email the table and exactly what you need.
