I can remember installing an add-in (supplied by Microsoft as far as I can
remember) when I was using Outlook 2002 to protect access to the address
book(s) set up in Outlook. It was in response to the viruses that were
generating messages to everyone in the contacts.
Whenever a program tried to access an address book a dialog appears asking
if it is OK to have access and I can set a time limit for the access.
I have now upgraded to Office/Outlook 2003. Now this same dialog appears
whenever I create a new email message. It does not matter whether I answer
yes or no to allow access - it still lets me create the new email, but is
annoying having to answer the dialog every time I create a new message.
There is no add-in listed under Tools/Options that I can just remove.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Many thanks.
