Programatically check whether pst file is password protected or not?

Hi.
I want to programatically check whether pst (Personal fodler) file is
password protected or not?
Is there is any way to do that?
 
I know of no way to do that other than trying to open it, which would
display a prompt to enter a password.

Open the pst file and you will see if it password protected or not ;-).

But seriously, do you want to check a pst file by a program that spys
out if a password exists or not?
