Program uses too much memory compared to others.

they need to work on some memory optimizations for this
program.

while its currently running now with nothing going on scan
wise or anything. it has 3 processes running one is taking
23,940kb of memory
12,808kb
8,296kb

program is a resource hog compared to say spybot which is
only using 5,572kb

Hi

One of these is from MSAS main program, 23 MB which
normally is closed.

- Try to clean up your PC with these steps with different
methods/tools.

Step nr 2 is important to also do.

- Check your error.log within Program Files-MSAS if it
grows rapidly or is large, > 5MB

MS AS 1.0.509 Beta:
gcasDtServ.exe 12,344K , 00 CPU usage
gcasServ.exe 7,192K , 00 CPU usage

No main window open. Only the icon showing in the task tray. Nothing used,
nothing going on. I have plenty of ram so I don't really mind. But if this
is considered bulky compared to others, than SpySweeper Corp is bulky as
well. Because my SpySweeper Corp with nothing open is:

SpySweeper Corp 2.x:
CommAgent.exe 8,496K 00 CPU Usage (technically not needed for
cleaning, but is for corp remote admin management and server update
checking.)
SpySweeper.exe 16,684K 00 CPU Usage
SpySweeperTray.exe 4,832K 00 CPU Usage

So compared to SpySweeper Corp, MS AS Beta 1.0.509 is about on parr with
about 20,000K for the scanning and protection portions in the background.

I am always for optimization and lower memory usage. Though ram is generally
cheap to buy and easier than re-coding. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't
be investigated for possible improvements. So there are my specs on ram
usage at idle for MS AS 1.0.509 beta and SpySweeper Corp as a reference.
