Program to turn your computer ON at a certain time?

I don't think there's anything that will turn it on from a power off "cold"
state, short of a robotic finger pushing the power button.

Better to suspend the computer so it's "asleep", and have some task set up
to run at a specific time. What is it you want it to do?

You can set up "power on" alarm in your BIOS, you can do it from windows as
well with a program, can't remember the name.

Is this possible ? If it is are there programs that can do this?

Only way I know to do anything remotely resembling a software start is in
the CMOS setup in some BIOS's. I had an Asus board that allowed automatic
startup at a chosen time. I used to start mine at 6AM every day, and it was
a nice feature. I mean, bending down for that button with a hot cup of
coffee in your hand can be hazardous. :)
