PS

I find multiple folders (say My Documents) on my laptop because I use it
both at work and home with 2 different network. Is there a file to identify
and then suggestions as to how I can change settings to keep same folder for
both work and home?

Try "My Briefcase" and it came with Windows.
If you don't have it with you, install it from the Windows CD.
 
I've never been able to figure out "My Briefcase". It just seems so
convoluted. Plus it's by Microsoft so it's bound to be full of bugs. :)

I once tried to transfer an Access database using "My Briefcase".
Interesting! It works a special piece of Microsoft Magic on it,
supposedly to sort out the later merging of it with the source. It
mainly seemed to mess up the AutoNumbers.
