My lady wants to pull the background sound from a DVD that she has here.
None of the programs that came with the DVD seem to deal with that, and we
haven't been able to find anything on the web that does it. Does anyone
here know any options??

Is this a freeware DVD, or commercially produced DVD?

Just wondering, since the difference has legal implications:

"pulling" freeware sound tracks, which I think may be legal, or "pulling" commercial sound tracks, which I am sure
is illegal.

Well, you know, given that she just wants to pull this so she can listen to
it in the car, and isn't planning to give it to anyone, I don't feel
terribly concerned about legality issues. She *did* purchase the DVD...
