Program to enable multiple desktops

Any free programs around that allows one to have multiple desktops on my
windows 98?

Don't like my current setup, where I have to log off and then back on to
change desktops.

FYI, I have tried a number of these for both Windows 9x and XP. The Windows
XP Power Toy, Virtual Desktop Manager was the best of the bunch, but far
from perfect. Anything I tried for (x was unstable and would cause
everything from complete lockups to forgotten settings. The XP power Toy
worked reasonably well, but it also forgot desktop settings after XP
updated. THe best is to use Linux, those are stable and work very well.

you could try powerpro (www.windowspowerpro.com), although it could be a
little over the top if you only want the virtual desktop functionality
(while it does include that feature, it does a whole lot more)

VirtualScreens: Runs as part of system shell to give you multiple virtual
desktops...move between them to decrease confusion...Space Dolphin (the
author) no longer supports it, so download it from my site. ~104Kb
