program switches?

Can IE use a switch that can be added to Properties so
that it will always start up in a maximized window? Thanks.
 
The settings for the last windows you close will be registered.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.
