program not working

At first, the AntiSpyware (Beta 1) was detecting and
removing bugs admirably. Then scans began detecting
nothing day after day. Meanwhile another spyware program
is finding stuff. Has anyone else experienced something
like this? Has some malicious bug been devised that
undermines the program?
 
First of all, the beta 1 release of Microsoft AntiSpyware does not detect
cookies, which is what the other AntiSpyware utility is probably detecting.
I would recommend downloading these additional AntiSpyware utilities and run
them in conjunction with Microsoft AntiSpyware. Restart the computer in safe
mode, open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the Scan Page > Scan Options > Full
System Scan, check the boxes below and click run Scan Now.
