Program list is truncated

I go to Start/Programs and there is an abbreviated list with "v" at the
bottom to see the rest of the list. Click and the rest show up in a
semi-grayed out form. This started recently and I only caught a glimpse of
the message out of the corner of my eye - said something about infrequently
used programs. Is there a way to set it back to normal?
