bytheway- mucho graciaoso - ALzips looking good, been having trouble
with ISO/BIN and VDrives. If it'll do image extraction well without the
VD, I'll be happy. don't think i'll need look @7zip

reconnects to ALTools site if it hiccups, use a multitreader like
DLExpert .91
otherwise good alternative (couldn't hit altool's net this morn)
also, do yourself a favor, get and try this AlTools DVD (?
VIDEO_TS.IFO) player (just now trying it on AVIs - hope hope it does my
zillion CCE>TMPG-Encodes) - this thing is really really looking good so
far)
just got a 32" LCD across the room on a media computer i threw together
past few weeks - killer, can't wait to give ALShow a shot
dedicated Media Classic user/player up 'till now but looking for
alternatives. MPC somewhat clunky old-style interface feel. otherwise
good (best). Didn't go for Zoom Player, newer prgy, newer thread - too
cumbersome with options (like MPC in a sense, but moreso). Hell, even
with a 32" LCD 5' in front of my face, I'm not going through Zoom's
tweaking labrynth. Twirleybird's delight/option save (oops). I got
the damn 32" to relax and ALshow just may help in that regard.
Something smooth, as in slick. IR keyboard navigation like fast
forward/back is nice, but aspect screen stretching is imperative (not
doing 1368x768 but 1024x768/60hz). Make one just like my old APEX or a
newer Phillips tabletop.
hm what else recently out of here for kudos, oh yea - The Godfather /
MP3 and more type tagline thingy. My MP3 TagStudio manipulations were
definately getting dated. O - thankyou, thankyou kind soul for such a
utilitarian freeware recommendation.
what else... FOOBAR. no nonsense for 160G of MP3s and three valvued
guitar amps. ditto. getting to where I can't stand those zillion
miniscule "skins" to play at 1900x1600 on the latest greatest 15"
laptop while crusing Denny's or McDonalds.
what else else - somebody posting fishtanks galore, gonna haveto find
that thread again and take a looksee on the Olevia LCD.
'well - goodby all you punks, stay young, just stopped in to say hi'
