Hi folks. i just downloaded pasteboard (as posted by Henk de Jong) to try
and it has the most awful skin as default IMHO. It gives dimensions and
directions for skin replacement in its help file and I was wondering which
would be a good program to make these new bitmaps.
Regards
Dave

I was looking at the ability to create a button look (3D with shadow) and I
don't think paint will do that? I might try Gimp??

Think I just worked it out myself. Any image editor and Irfanview to convert
to 3D button?? I'll give it a go.

Pixia is a great paint program:

i.Mage is the best choice for pixel-by-pixel editing:

Serif PhotoPlus is pretty good, too (I'm told):

For just-what-you-need painting, 602PRO Suite has a photo editor that I
like, but I'm not so sure about the new version of the Suite (it might be
border-line crippleware).
