Strange behaviour on some of the XP Pro machines we have
running at my site.
Users are reporting that the programs they are currently
using appear to lose the focus quite regularly through
the day. Generally they have 3 or 4 progs running
simultaneously. Its not really a big problem (ie they
just click back to there required prog) but they all keep
moaning at me and at present I cant give a reason for
this. Dont think its tied down to a specific program and
the programs they are using seem to be quite random)
Anyone had similar problems ?

You can install Tweak UI. Once installed, go to
Start > Programs > PowerToys > TweakUI > General > Focus and
place a check next to "Prevent applications from stealing focus".

Microsoft PowerToys (Tweak UI)

Doesnt seem to work although I thought it would. Is it
possible that a background service or something is
causing this problem?Although the program appears to lose
focus if I look on the task bar it still has the darker
shade as if its still in focus
