I have had a problem with one of my users computers. They cannot open any executable files directly, from Microsoft Word to Internet Explorer to a simple program like the Calculator. When they try to do this, an error appears:
"Cannot find the file 'C:\filename.exe' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
The path and filenames are definitely correct. An exeption to this, however, is when the user tries to open a file, for example when they open a Word Document, Word opens. But they cannot open Word directly. Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do about it?
