Prog To Remove Data "0" to leave text ?

Hello,

I have a programme on my computer and one of its files when opened in
notepad has normal text which I want a seperate record of and a good number
of computer "0" which I want to delete. These are not number noughts or
letters of the alphabet.

I would like a programme that can remove these "0", so I can print out the
normal text.

Sorry if I havnt made this clear but its the details in the " my
preferences" file of listings software that I want to print out.

Can't you just copy one of these characters and do a search and replace
for it and replace it with nothing? That would delete them all
