I recently created a user and I am unable create a roaming
profile for this user. I already checked the rights
assigned to this user and everything looks exactly the
same. I even tried to duplicate an existing account and I
am still not able create this profile.

What do You mean - did You set the path to the profile on the server on
the profile tab of users properties?
