Profile takes unacceptable amount of time to load

I am experiencing a problem with my roaming profile.
Whenever I restart my workstation, my settings take
approximately 15 to 20 minutes to load. My profile folder
on the server has the same permissions and set-up as
everyone else's. Does anyone have a clue as to why this
is happening?
 
Something else to check - how much stuff do you have in the Recycle Bin?
Even though this is not roamed to the sever I have seen where people have
hundred of MB in the RB that there profile takes ages to load.
