Profile missing!!!!

why do some users lose there user profile and icons in windows XP, and have
to do a restore to the PC before the user can use there profile again. we
have 5 different users in the lase week with this problem, i wonder if
someone could shed some light on this.

has a tool called:

profile hive cleaner

when you query
the above, you might
get the "whys" and 'how comes".
