Hello,

We are running a Windows 2000 Domain in mixed mode. We have a couple
of Citrix Metaframe XPa servers that run as member servers. We are
trying to conserve space on the boot and system partition. Does anyone
know how to successfully move a profile from one partition to another
when the user logs into the domain and the profile is stored locally?

We have tried the following solution with no success:

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
Name: ProfilesDirectory
Data Type: REG_EXPAND_SZ
Value: path (this would actually be the path to the folder on the
other partition you're wanting to use)

What happened was the system created a new profile with ".domain"
attached on the "C" drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

David

Can I assume that you're redirecting the Home Folders to network location and that you're doing something to restrict the size of the Temporary Internet Files from it's obscene default value?
