How to configure a users home directory, so that when a user logs in he can
access it.

Best Regards,
Bharat

when u create a user specify
there should be an opton to setup hoe folder.
type this in it \\servername\sharename\%username%

Thats how it is supposed to work, but what do you do when you take all the steps and there is no home folder for the user when you log on.

I have Windows XP professional workstation, in AD domain on Windows 2000 Server. I have added, connect s: to //cnb-00/users/test to the test users profile, it creates directory, I log on at workstation, and whalah, no S: drive. The logon script works, but no Home Directory.

Any ideas?

that si the method I know and use on one of my tests, I know what and how to do this, I just does not work. I have found no messages in event viewer and have run out of troubleshooting options.

Any More Idesa?

Thanks ,

Bin
