Profile gets resetted to default on Reboot

Hello There,

I have freshly installed Windows 2000. In that I have just enabled Guest
User and have given a password to it. So, a local user can easily login with
user "guest" and its password.

But, the problem is that whenever restarting the system, the profile gets
resetted to defaults. For Example, the Outlook Profile in the guest users
profile gets deleted. So, every time I have to reconfigure the outlook
profile after rebooting the system.

What could be the possible cause or the solution.

Thanks in advance.

This is a property of the Guest account. Don't use it - it's a security
risk! Use proper accounts instead.

Thanks Pegasus for your valued reply.

I tried the same with a newly created user and found the same results.
What might be the problem now?

Again Thanks in advance,

Denis
