I'm able to use a .prf to generate a new profile, but I'm wondering if
there is a setting in that or a registry entry somewhere that will
allow me to specify a username and initials by default to office so it
does not prompt our users once the .prf is done and Outlook launches.
(nice run-on setting)

Thanks for any help!

the variable %username% should do it.

You can use %username% as a placeholder when you set the alias for an
Exchange account in the .prf file.

I guess I didn't phrase the question well. I'm not having any probs
setting the Exchange mailbox, the issue is once Outlook fully opens
after the *.prf runs for the first time Office chimes in. It's the
'User Name' dialog that states "Please enter your full name and
initials below. This information will be used in Office workgroup
features."

Any idea how to account for that without user intervention?

Thanks!!

Those are registry entries, if I remember correctly, but I don't know the
exact location.
