Greetings,
I am doing desktop support and deployment for a WIN2k site
and we are using Novell 4.9. When we set up the users on
the machines,l we log in the first time with the user
having admin rights. After successful login, we switch
them to a power user category. This has worked
successfully up until the last two machines we have done.
We are getting to be what looks like a roaming profile
error, except that we are not using roaming profiles. It
looks like the Novell client is not granting permissions
to write something in the profile directory. We have had
2 different system admins check the settings, just in case
one missed something.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Email me
and I can provide a couple of screen shots of the error
dialog boxes.
Thanks
