HI CAN ANY TELL ME WERE I CAN FIND MY PRODUCT KEY ON MY
WIN XP HOME EDITION VERSION 2002, HAD A BIT OF A PROBLEM
WITH SYSTEM LOST KEY SO IM USEING 98 AND WANT TO GO BACK
TO XP. THANKS.
 
Try the registry....HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/current
verion/Productid
 
Not there--the key is encrypted in XP.
If you currently have the XP still installed you can use programs such as
AIDA32 or the Magical Jellybean Keyfinder to discover the key.

If XP is no longer installed you will need to find the sticker for OEM
versions or the folder the disk came in for full or upgrade versions.
