I did not get any disks with laptop, powerpoint 07 was preinstalled, but
keeps asking me for product key, have accessed help but was no help, I have
to pay to have my question answered by microsoft. How do I find the product
key for their products (my other microsoft products require a key as well) Tx

I would go to wherever you got the computer and ask them, as product keys
are usually on the back of the CD case. Normally PowerPoint does not come
installed on new computers.

A trial version of Office is often included with computers, pre-installed
on the hard disk. Its activation code would be among the missing documents.

The key may not be with the computer's documents. I have purchased 4 HP
computer within the last year with Office 2007 trial installed but none of
the documentation had a trial key included. Never found the key for the
computers but also never called HP as I had no need for the trial software.
I'm wondering what the activation assistant I see on all the trial installs
do. It isn't part of retail Office versions. I also know that the trial
version and activation assistant has to be removed for a retail version of
office to be successfully installed.
