product key

i will be formating my hard drive and am trying to get
everthing together that i wll be keeping and needing to
start over...i dont have my product key, (or the numbers
to install the disk) is it on my computer somewhere?
 
In Windows XP, the product key is no longer available as Clear text in
registry. you need a software to view the key:

Retrieve your XP CD key

On the back of the computer, there should be a reflective
Microsoft Windows sticker which has the Product Key
printed on it.
