Product Key

Hello All,

I guess I was a day late and a dollar short. I got the latest Vista B2
download, but was not able to get a product key. Does anyone have an extra
key they would be willing to give up. I am in the Army, and as the head IT
guy for my Battalion, ppl are going to be asking me questions, and of course
I need to be up on the latest.
Help Support the Troops, we geeks need to stick together.

There is no way to get a key from this newsgroup.

The easiest way for you to get a key would probably be to have one of your
supervisors contact Microsoft and get you one.

The product key should be in the email MS sent you when you applied for the
download.
 
This is what I am trying to figure out. I downloaded the beta about a month
ago but didn't have time to install it. Now I'm having fits trying to find
the key. I vaguely remember filling out a form online, then gaining access
to the download (I still have access to the download) and I think I even
remember the email but I can't find it. Can someone verify that I would have
to have registered for the key before gaining access to the file? Also, does
anyone know the number one should use to call MS about this?

I'm not looking for a handout but a nudge in the right direction would help
a great deal. I need to get up to speed on Vista. Thank you.

You would have given some type of MSFT-brand email address, like Hotmail,
MSN, that type of thing.
