Why doesn't this program find all the spyware that
programs like Ad Aware find?

And exactly what was not detected? MSAS does not, for example, look for data
miners and cookies. Besides, do all programs have 100% efficiency?? No, they
don't. Even Ad-Aware.
And more - all depends on spyware signatures (patterns) so if you have found
something that MSAS did not, just run MSAS, go to Tools menu and send
Suspected Spyware Report (before removing that detected spyware, of course).
This will help the MSAS to detect this threat in the future.

Because Ad-Aware targets cookies and MSAS doesn't. There
is a legitimate question as to whether or not cookes are
spyware.

I've even found Spybot tocatch some things that Ad-Aware
hasn't! The more scanners you run, the better chance
you'll have at more hits. Another one to try is
Counterspy, by Sunbelt Software. If you want a
combined "malware" solution, try Panda Software's
products. I know, it sounds all cute and fluffy, but
they seem to pride themselves on their "completeness" of
product and their frequent updates.
