Product activation code

This might be out of context but I have a friend in the UK that has rendered her computer unbootable. She has a cd with Winxp pro w/ sp-2 (but she's LOST the product activation code). She can't boot to windows -is there ANY way she can take HER disc to a diff computer and find the activation code on it? Thank you for your help. She DOESN'T have her case (keeps all her cd's in a glove)-silly girl ! LOL
 
I'm afraid the only way to install it is to use the original activation code that came with the CD - if its lost (or not on a sticker on the PC) then it is rendered useless I'm afraid :(
 
Phone Microsoft, there is a UK number, they will help. :thumb:
