To whom it may concern,
I am having a problemwith my computer. When I start it up
every 10 seconds or so the processor goes to 100% usage
when nothing should be going on (just at idle). And the
longer I leave it on the processor will just stay at 100%
and every thing runs so slowly on not at all. This is all
seen through task manager. Please help me in this problem.
It is causing many headaches.
Thank you.

so, what process it show in task manager that TAKES that all processor time?
Telling that process name would help some more to get answers...

Here's two 1st thoughts that pops to my mind when things like this happen.

Have you updated and scanned your system for the viruses lately?

Or maybe there is some ad- or spyware thats linked to system?

download spybot seek & destroy from http://security.kolla.de
install it, update it, and RUN it...

second maybe download AdAware from www.lavasoft.de install it, update it,
RUN
it...

third, if you want to somewhat "immunize" your system from spyware, download
spywareblaster
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html install it, "update" it
and RUN it

I hope those helps you atleast some bit.
