Upgrade your hardware.

I realize that I have a pentium 2 mach. that isn't the
problem, and don't need smart replies, the only way my pc
will boot after installing wk2 pro. is if I slow down my
processor from 266 to 166. then if boots fine. BTW I have
almost 20,000 dollars invested in my hobby. Did this for a
living for 20yrs. I know that I can find the answer but
thought I would ask on this forum. Personally,I feel that
you should not have to upgrade your hardware each time
some new software is developed. We all are in a sense beta
testers, but it is nice to know if you are being used as
one. I use to beta test for win95 and don't appreciate
some wise ass response.

Since you did not provide any info about the hardware other than the
processor speed and negelected to post any thing about any error
messages, I find the "beta tester" reference a bit hard to swallow. Now
to resolve the problem. Is your motherboard on the hardware compatible
listing for Windows 2000?

.

Ridiculous! You have the responsibility to post a question if you expect an
answer. Accuracy, details of the problem and error messages you receive are
the key to your solution.
