After running MSAS I was prompted to restart my computer,
after which my computer could no longer connect to my
school's internet network. There had not been a problem
before removing the "spyware" detected by MSAS. I removed
all spyware that I did not recognise as being a necessary
part of any programs I run on a regular basis, and
aparently this removed something important that allowed me
to access my network connection. I'm not sure how to fix
this problem, or even if it is really a problem with MSAS,
but that was the only thing I did differently than
anything I normally do day-to-day, so that is my
assumption.
