I've recently purchased a new PC after years of using the old P3 800.
Its been great, not been having any of the old problems until today
i've trioed everything I can think of but to no avail, here's th
problem.

I boot up the machine to the login screen, there are two accounts, m
own (administrator) account and my fathers (restricted) account.
Whenever I login in to the Admin account it boots up as normal unti
everything is running and then restarts the PC. I can us the limite
account without any problems but I can't run Norton WinDoctor o
anything from that account.

Any help would be appreciated

You might want to try booting in Safe Mode to see if you can discover the
issue from within the Admin account. You enter Safe Mode by pressing F8
during boot up (you should see a message stating this) and choosing it from
the list of selections. Safe Mode may stop a device driver or other startup
software from loading that is causing the problem (if that's where the
problem lies), something that isn't loaded/used in the restricted account.
It's something to try while waiting for other advice.

Create a new account, give it administrator privileges, and run your
diagnostics from there.
