I am having problems with one of my machines on my
network, it is the only one running XP Pro. I am using
SBS2000 on my server.

Iam not doing anything fancy with the server, it is set as
my domain controller on mycompany.local.

It also runs my email (exchange).

Apart from that it is just a file server.

I have an older server running server 2000 as a domain
controller on mycompany.co.uk. whci just holds files. At
first we had problems with files on this old server with
the XP Pro machine. Word kept locking up and saying
files were in use when they were not. Now I am having
problems with the new server now (with files moved frm the
other server), again with the XP Pro machine.
Applications just crash and machine locks up. Also it
says that the files are in use by another user or
application when they are not.

Any Ideas.
