Problems with XP home and 2000

I recently purchased a computer with XP home bundled on
it. This is the first time I work with XP Home. I am
having trouble networking it with the other 2000 machines
I have running. The xp home machine cannot 'see' the 2000
machine and vice-versa. Please help!!!
