Problems with WU v5 and XP SP2

Hi

If I use the windows update site then the updates download but don't install
on the PC.

There is almost no support on the technet site for WU V5.

Heres an excerpt from the log
any ideas?

Hi;

Open a CMD windows (Start/Run then type in CMD and press Enter) and type
this in at the prompt:

proxycfg -u

Close the CMD windows by typing Exit at the prompt, then do a Restart on
your system.
There is almost no support on the technet site for WU V5.

The above resolution was posted by MS in the Windows Update public newsgroup
("microsoft.public.windowsupdate") on the 7th of this month. ;)
