Problems with writing presentation to CD

Bluefin

I have completed my power point slides and I simply want to burn the
presentation to CD. I would like to distribute them to customers who can
simply insert the CD and instantly view the presentation. I have been using
the 'package for CD' option in the File menu.

The problem is whenever I view the newly-burned CD, either on my computer or
someone else's, the fonts have been altered on the slides and alot of the
text in the text boxes is distorted and sometimes blurred together. When I
view the same CD again the distortion problem persists, however, on different
slides!

What can I do to simply get the presentatation on a CD for people to view??

Thanks,
John

Which version of PowerPoint do you use?

Font problems are often caused by the lack of a printer. Please make sure
that a local standard-printer is installed. Even if you do not want to
print. And you do not need to attach this printer physically, installing a
printer driver is enough.

Best regards,
Ute

Hi John

As well as Ute's advice, the problem may be caused by the font(s) you have
used not being on the destination machine. Did you use anything unusual? You
can embed the font(s) (as long as they are true type fonts & you have
copyright) through Tools -> Options -> Save -> Embed True Type fonts -> in
use or all - you might as well use 'all' if you are burning it onto CD.
