Hello,

I was using Wordperfect with Windows 98 and then my job
switched us to Windows 2000 which is terrific in every way
except I cannot access my macros in wordperfect. The
marcro files are in the directory as always but when I
type ALT F10 and the macro name the response prompt states
Macro Not Found.

Please, Please, help me get these macros to work. I am a
medical transcriptionist and am now using two different
machines to get my work done. Please advise if you have
any thoughts. Thank you so much!!!!!

LuAnn - it's more likely you'd get good help from the WordPerfect
website... perhaps they have a knowledge base, or special words of
advice for people who move to the W2k platform.

I don't know how or where Wordperfect stores macros, but is there a
chance you have to tell the WP on W2k where they are? This would be done
through a WP setting somewhere.

Perhaps, if they're somewhere in the W2k system directory (usually
C:\winnt) the problem is simply that the name of the system directory
changed when you moved to the W2k machine. In that case, the ALT F10
would be looking for the macros in a directory that no longer exists.

When trying to find a file, getting the directory or filename almost
right doesn't count. :-) (Nice to hear you're enjoying yourself on W2k!)
