i downloaded the windows media player 10 for xp and now i am having a lot of
problems with it. I restored back to an older version of media player but the
problems still remain. First, when i go to download the new version of media
player it starts but then all of these messages come up saying that windows
xp does not support some of the agreements that come with the download. I can
get it to download but a lot of the licesne agreements ect. don't go through.
When i go to the msn music site to get stuff i start to download it and it
comes up with a message saying that my computer can't be individualized and i
tried to find info on this but i can't.
What can i do to fix this?

You state you installed it and then went back to an older version.
Currently some or many files within WMP may be missing or are corrupt.
Do not install WMP until you do a System File Check first, or if necessary
a XP Repair install. Go to:
Start>Run>type SFC /SCANNOW and click OK (space between C and /)
have your XP install CD handy for it may ask for it to replace missing or
corrupt files. If no success, then:
