When I am using internet explorer and I have 1 window open and try to open
another window, the first window closes, as an example, I have www.msn.com
open and I minimize this and try to open a second window of www.msn.com and
as the 2nd window starts to open, the first window that was minimized closes
and the 2nd window opens and that is all that is showing, how do I fix this

Hi,
Before to create new messages it is significant to make a search in order to
check if an answer exists for this problem. That avoids with the people who
check your requests to write several times the same answers. At least by
courtesy....

Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Also, if you have Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar, a firewall,
Earthlink (or another pop-up blocker) My IE2 (a shell for IE) etc.
Yahoo Companion is a very common cause.

You'll have to turn off the feature that's blocking new windows or, perhaps,
uninstall the program (especially uninstall Yahoo Companion).

With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.

If you're *sure* that another program isn't causing this, these links may
help.
