Problems with Web Application Stress (WAS) tool: cannot load perf counters

I am running my asp.net web app and WAS on the same machine. When I
am creating a test script, I try to "Add Counter" in WAS. When I
press that button, I get the following error in a pop-up window:
"Failed to load the perf counters from the computer [localhost /
ANDREW]"

I tried using both 'localhost' and 'ANDREW' (the name of the computer)
as the name of the server, but no luck. I can add performance
counters that I need in 'perfmon', but not in WAS.

Has anyone had this problem? Any assistance would be of much help.

I have encountered the same problem. Do you have an answer for that problem yet ?

I'd appreciate your response

Thanks,
