My second version of Movie maker doesn't work well.
Whenever i try to edit, to add video effects or
tranitions the whole window of Movie Maker closes
down. And i can't make any change , edit movies, besides
it seems to me i t takes more disk space than the
previous version.
What should i do?

Hi there,

1st, as you seem concerned about how much disk space the program needs can
I ask what are the specs of your system? The reason I ask is if you are
hoping to make full screen high quality video you will need quite a bit of
spare hard drive space...for example one hour of DV-AVI quality video will
occupy at least 12GB of space. Other formats will occupy less than that
dependent upon the format chosen by you.

On the issue of Movie Maker closing, this is probably the most common
problem. It is very likely that there is a problem with files called
"Codecs" on your system. The solution to that problem can be found at
www.papajohn.org in the "Problem Solving" "Acceleration and Codecs"
section.

Hi
I was with the same problem, but i solve it, with some help, of course
just rename file divxaf.ax in c/windows/system32 to
divxaf.ax_ (underscore at the end) and no problems with
divx as well
